We are The Golfer’s Image and our mission is to celebrate the still image in golf through the annual Golf Photography Awards and create a community around photographic storytelling in golf.
At the heart of golf lies the visual beauty of the courses we play, the lifestyle we take on and the game we call golf. If it wasn’t for the beauty of the game, we wouldn’t love it as much as we do.
Thousands of images are captured everyday around golf. We believe that these images and image takers should be rewarded and celebrated. The Golfer’s Image creates a global visual platform for the still-image in the game promoting the art of golf photography.

About the competition
The Golf Photography Awards is an annual photography competition for amateurs and professionals, creating the only recognition in the golf industry for the art of photography, still-imagery and visual storytelling.
Our mission is to celebrate the still-image in golf, discover the best golf photographers around the world and provide all photographers with a global platform for the images they create. We support all golf photography, from the professional golf photographer, all the way to the amateurs taking captivating snapshots whilst playing. In the spirit of the game itself, The Golf Photography awards is split into the amateur and professional photographer game.
Most proudly of all, the Golf Photography Awards is a competition with a social mission at its core. For the 2023 and 2024 competitions we have partnered with The Golf Trust, in the UK, and will be donating all profits generated from the Golf Photography Awards competition entry fees.
